General Manager - Resilience, Risk Frontiers New South Wales
With more than 15 years experience in resilience building, Risk Frontiers general manager Andrew Gissing is a nationally recognised risk and resilience expert.
Andrew works with government, business and not-for-profit to make communities safer, has led the delivery of strategic resilience policy and has worked closely with emergency services to improve planning and engagement programs.
Andrew is also a regular speaker at national and global disaster management conferences, and is a lead researcher at the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre at Macquarie University.
He previously held the position of Deputy Chief Officer / Director Emergency Management and Communication with the Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES).
