Fiona Lee is an artist and Black Summer bushfire survivor who lost her home near Bobin in 2019. She is NSW government relations advisor for Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action and co-coordinator of Gas Free Hunter Alliance
Fiona relocated to Newcastle after the fires where she now lives with her young family.
Fiona is motivated to prevent the Kurri Kurri gas plant from going ahead to help stop more people being impacted by the effects of climate change caused by the burning of fossil fuels.
