Kobad Bhavnagri is one of Australia’s leading experts on the transformation of the energy sector. He is the Head of Australia and Head of APAC Economics and Policy at Bloomberg New Energy Finance; and the lead author of the New Energy Outlook in APAC – BNEFs forecast of how the global energy sector will evolve to 2040.
Kobad has authored over 100 publications spanning energy policy, economics, finance and technology since joining Bloomberg.
He previously worked in the energy and finance industries as an engineer, management consultant and analyst. His academic background is in engineering and environmental studies specialising in energy economics, markets and policy.
